and taught for districts in the past. We would be happy to develop
an inservice to meet the specific needs of your teachers!
One-day Science/Math
Inquiry Inservice:
• Shows teachers how to integrate science and math through
hands-on activities for students
One-day Science
Training:
• Focuses on teaching the TEKS with an emphasis on skills
students need to be successful in advanced academic classes in
high school (AP, IB)
• Teachers will be provided with curriculum supplements
One-day Math Training:
• Focuses on teaching the TEKS with an emphasis on skills
students need to be successful in advanced academic classes in
high school (AP, IB)
• Teachers will be provided with curriculum supplements
Two-day Vertical
Team Sessions:
• Focuses on teaching the TEKS with an emphasis on skills
students need to be successful in advanced academic classes in
high school
• Teachers will be provided templates for planning the vertical
alignment for your school district, and then given the support
needed to design your vertical team plan for your district
Five-day Summer
Workshop (Science or Math):
• In-depth training on teaching the TEKS with an emphasis
on skills students need to be successful in advanced academic
classes in high school
• Teachers will be given a curriculum notebook with activities
• Using technology in the science or math classroom will
be emphasized
• Teachers will be provided templates for planning the vertical
alignment for your school district, and then given the support
needed to design your vertical team plan for your district
• Follow-up day long training in the fall
